Nurses always keep it in mind how important it is for the aged people to realize their significance in this world. That is why they treat them with respect, accentuate their merits and remind of their achievements. All in all they pay much attention to concentrating only on positive sides of life.

There are many families nowadays in which elderly grandmothers and grandfathers require sufficient help either of some illness or just because of their age. Very often such families face a kind of an impasse, because of shortage of time: the young are studying or absorbed by starting their careers, adults work hard to keep home comfort…and at this time our grandparents try by all means be independent.

Sooner or later there comes a moment, when it becomes impossible to live unassisted as somebody should give a bedpan or change diapers, constantly control blood pressure and temperature, change clothes and bed-linen, remind and give the prescribed medicines, to cook special food and just to be an attentive listener.
